I wrote this blog post this week after dealing with clients in tailspins after cancelling programs and fundraisers. I clearly understand the instinct to try to do more fundraising and visibility work right now, but I've found a lot of E.D.s are not setting up the foundation - talking with the board, communicating with staff, and looking at their bottom lines and burn rates.
