Yes, it's really about a culture change among NPs. It's taken a while for NPs in general to even think about executive transition as a process that should be navigated with intention, and we're still on that path. Having a well-respected organization disseminate workshops on the topic (a la CompassPoint's work back in the early 2000s on the 3-phase model) can have leverage. And the organized network of skilled interim EDs in the Bay area doing good interim work has certainly raised awareness and caused an uptick in demand.
